Abstract BACKGROUND: Bruxism is a repetitive jaw-muscle activity characterized by the clenching or grinding of teeth and/or the bracing or thrusting of the mandible. OBJECTIVE: This study assessed parents/guardians' knowledge of nocturnal bruxism in children/adolescents.
